Cyrus Miller – President, Owner and Project Manager

Cyrus (Cy) Miller studied Architecture at Yale and worked his way through college doing construction around the country, and did an internship at Arcosanti, an early sustainable living experiment in Arizona. He started his own company while in college and worked with other contractors before joining Common Vision in 1994. Hired primarily to be a Production Manager, he quickly became involved in design, estimating, sales accounting, and public outreach.

Cy became a partner in 2000 and, in 2016, took over Common Vision from the company’s founder, Steve King. Cy continues to adhere to our mission statement and leads and trains our employees to always “Do what is right.” In that pursuit, he supports many local causes and non-profit organizations in the New Haven area. He also continues his passion for architecture, politics, bird-watching, and photography, along with the strong friendships he has built over the years with many of our longstanding clients.
