Eric Macfadyen – Project Planner

Eric Macfadyen is a project planner who discovered his love for remodeling as the owner of a 1920s house in “The Hill” neighborhood of South St. Louis over twenty years ago. While fixing up the house, he started learning woodworking and cabinet making. That experience sparked a passion for working with his hands and problem solving, which led to a career in carpentry working for one of the most upscale remodeling companies in St. Louis County. In 2005, Eric moved to Fairfield County Connecticut, where he has remained since. After briefly working for a high-end remodeling company in Greenwich, he joined Common Vision in 2007. Eric was soon promoted to be a lead carpenter, taking on some of the company’s largest and more complicated projects. In 2015, Cy offered a position taking on the estimating and sales, as well as overseeing design.

In his spare time, Eric enjoys going to see live music and spending time with his wife, Elizabeth, playing with their two dogs and two cats, and drumming.
